Dubai to Launch First Robotic Biobank

In April, a part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Al Jalila Foundation, reported its move to establish the first robotic biobank in the Emirates. It will launch this biobank with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Mohammed bin Rashid (MBR) University of Medicine and Health Sciences. The partnership between these bodies is to enhance medical research on target areas like genetic disorders and pandemics like Covid. It also includes cancer and some chronic diseases. There exist over 120 biobanks in the world presently. Further, these range from small to large depending on purpose and ownership. ByBit and Crypto.com Offices to Be Established in Dubai

In the last week of March 2022, two leading crypto companies stated they would be opening offices in Dubai, UAE. In a press release on March 28th, ByBit officials informed the public of their move from Singapore to Dubai. This results from the "in-principle approval" it received to conduct its digital business in the UAE. Crypto.com also released a statement on creating an office on the same day. Sci-Fi movies always tend to picture the future with flying cars, but now the technology seems to be authentic. A U.S.-based company LuftCar will launch a flying car in 2023 in Dubai. Moreover, the vehicle is set to solve all the traffic-related issues in the congested cities of Dubai. After the launch of new flying cars, traffic will be of no issue in Dubai. LuftCar is currently designing an autonomous vehicle with six propellers that can be attached and detached from a flying module. Hence, just like a helicopter, the car takes off and lands vertically.
